I know it is not an illness. I know there is no cure. But it is so irritating.
Because of my annoying sense of loyalty it takes me ages to admit that someone is stupid. However, once i do, my opion will not change.
I have a dear beloved friend, whom i have known for years, but only recently i started seeing just how silly and stupid she is. And if you want to question my asumption - a person who wonders why you do not buy a smaller size bra than your own breasts because it is cute... Anything that is small is cute. Daisies are cute. So are little goldfish. Even tiny spiders are kind of cute. But when you wear a 34G there is nothing cute about your bra. It is hard, i suppose, for a cup B to understand. It is even harder to pass the message that your 34Gs will never fit into 34D bra.
This is just a tiny example of that particular person's stupidity. The list is long and funny:
- ugg boots are nice because everyone wears them
- ugg boots are horrible because some magazine (probably OK) says they are not sexy
- a man will always love you as long as you wear make-up
- marriage gives you a position in society (i know some may agree with this, but really all marriage gives you is a piece of paper)
- children 'made' out of love are different to others
- one must fit in at any cost
- Indian people are mean (i am not sure if racism is a form of stupidity or is it pure moronity)
- if you have kids a man will stay with you because of them
- if he loves you he will propose right away
- any higher education is better than none
- etc (i am bored now).
What really pissed me off yesterday was the fact that she was being rude and would not stop. Me being polite and nice, not because some magazine tells me, had to put up with shit because someone is thick... Stupid people eat your time and effort you may give. I know it may not always be their fault but it is their unwillingness to understand someone else that really gets me everytime.
