alone

Somehow being alone is depicted as a negative thing in society. It is not however clear why it is so. Anglophile would love to spend a week or maybe a month or even a year alone. Not lonely but alone. With all those books to be read and all that knowledge to be consumed... Not even English studies actually allow for that. One has to watch TV and listen to the radio, important linguistic changes and influences can be observed there and just as much in a market place. Wanting to be alone is not healthy. But is smoking, drinking, eating high fat food and driving instead of talking, but that did not stop us or generations before us.
I want to be alone.

  1. I am not so sure it is a desire to be alone as a desire to detox. We accrue a lot of crud in our lives and clearing it all off takes a lot more than just a positive affirmation or a stroll in the woods - it can take weeks, months, or years. I know, I've been there.

So you are in University, good for you. I want to take filmmaking, but ... there is a distinct lack of post-secondary courses in English in Madrid. But I do like the weather, very nice weather.

BTW, you should correct the link to my site (drop the whole component/content/forntpage thing from the URL).
