Winter is clearly just around the corner.. The mornings are snappier and harder to take.
English winter is very different from the continental one. You can feel it coming you know it's just about to happen but it always manager to catch you as well as all the transport services by surprise.. You just end up waking up one morning and looking through the window with the astonishment of an 8 year old - it's winter!

And so it is right now. You feel it. You know it. But you never expect it and so it happens every year.
