First but maybe not last

Since the move and change of position at work, my schedule has changed. Having gained some time from reducing travel to work time, I have also won or at least I feel like I have won, some social life.
In fact I am so busy in the coming weeks with meetings with friends and dinners, trips to London, that I have to keep track in my diary!
It is quite a new experience. Of course I have kept a diary before, but never for social reasons, it was always for work and doctor/dentist appointments!

To top it all off, I had a day off yesterday, which is a rare occassion. I barely get Sundays off. So after a sleep in, a nice big Easter breakfast, I went off to London for a meeting with a friend. We met at Tower Hill and after crossing the Tower Bridge wonderend around Enbankment. We wondered enough to get thirsty and pop into The Swan, a pub, right next door to Shakespear's Globe where we refreshed ourselves before wondering off again.

Girlie chat and a bit of intelligent conversation, all healthy stuff for a lovely and sunny Sunday afternoon. I must admit I was absolutely amazed at the quality of weather so unusual for a Bank Holiday weekend, but miracles do happen, and it does not rain all the time.

Next scheduled social activity if for Wednesday. I have a friend coming down to have a dinner with me as well as enjoy the day in my cute little seaside town. This is not all though... Saturday night I have a friend coming over to stay for a couple of weeks, and Saturday after that I have a lovely couple (one of the party if un homme francais) coming for a dinner. Let's hope I will not mess up my sauce!

Just one more lovely thing, I saw this on my walk yesterday, I love proper bunting!
